tcs® Workshops for Technicians
We offer a variety of hands-on workshops year round. The workshops are given in small groups for optimal one-on-one time with the trainer. The purpose of the workshops are to equip technicians with the ability, as well as background knowledge to offer Dentists and their Patients a supreme tcs® product. Techniques will be covered to enable technicians with time saving tips and step-by-step processes to properly fabricate tcs® products.
Our workshops range from beginner to advanced technicians, from specific procedures, such as finishing and polishing, to complete start to finish workshops.
The workshops are led by Alex Posca. Having been a dental technician and laboratory owner for over 30 years, Alex certainly earns his reputation as an expert dental technician. His career in the dental laboratory began as a technician in his father's dental lab in 1974, which he eventually took over as President. Alex has given seminars and workshops worldwide, including many countries in Europe, Central South America and Asia.

Courses Description
Course #1003 Introduction to tcs® Unbreakable
This course is ideal for technicians that are new to flexible partials. The course consist of the entire process necessary for fabricating a tcs® Unbreakable Partial. Every step will be covered, from design and waxing to finishing and polishing. Each technician will fabricate a partial from start to finish, and will have a sample case to take with them.
Workshops generally run approximately 8 hours.
Course #1001 tcs® Unbreakable Advanced Workshop
This course is for technicians that are already familiar working with thermoplastic but want some additional tips on finishing and polishing, repairs, relines and difficult cases.
Also, technicians that have not worked with thermoplastic but want to see what it is all about are certainly welcome.
Our new polishing technique is sure to get your thermoplastic restorations looking like glass. The finish and polish segment of the course will be approximately 2-3 hours. The course will begin with a brief overview PowerPoint presentation of the entire process of fabricating a tcs® Unbreakable. An injected case will be ready for each technician, and we will begin the hands-on finish and polish training. When you leave, you will have a beautifully finished TCS restoration to take with you.
Repairs, relines and difficult cases will also be discussed.
Workshop generally runs about 4 hours.
