FAQs: tcs® Suction Cup Dentures

Q: How long will the procedure take to receive a tcs® Suction Cup?

A: That depends on if you have an existing denture that is simply getting relined into a tcs® Suction Cup. In that case, it would only take two visits, one for the impression and one for delivery. If you are having a new denture fabricated using the tcs® Suction Cup, it would require the standard 4 to 6 visits.

Q: Will the procedure be painful?

A: No, it is the same procedure used for conventional denture relines.

Q: How long will my tcs® Suction Cup liner last?

A: Due to natural changes that occur in both the bone structure and the soft tissues of your mouth, normally dentures are relined every two to three years. At that time the tcs® Suction Cup and surrounding areas will be ground off and a new base will be fabricated.

Q: Can I wear my tcs® Suction Cup denture at night?

A: It is recommended to take out your dentures at night, but if you feel that you would like to wear them, please consult with your dentist.

Q: Do I have to put my tcs® Suction Cup denture in water when I’m not wearing it?

A: In order to keep your tcs® Suction Cup denture looking and feeling like new, we recommend that you keep it immersed in water when you are not wearing it.

Q: Will it hurt when I take out my tcs® Suction Cup denture?

A: The suction hold it very gentle, it will not hurt when you remove them from your mouth.

Q: Can I make minor adjustments to my denture?

A: We strongly recommend that you do not alter your denture in any way. If adjustments need to be made, please see your dentist.
