Proper Care of Your tcs® Nightguard Appliance
tcs® Nightguard appliances are fabricated from a strong moldable acrylate compound. They are very easy to care for. In order to keep your tcs® Nightguard looking and feeling like new, please follow these simple recommendations:
- Continue to brush and floss your natural teeth and gums as directed by your dentist.
- Use mild toothpaste and a soft denture brush under cold tap water. DO NOT scrub hard nor use a regular toothbrush.
- Shake moisture from nightguard.
- Place in a sealable plastic container.
- Mineral deposits may accumulate causing discoloration. If this occurs, soak nightguard for approximately 30 minutes in a denture cleaner. We recommend tcs® Concentrated Denture Cleaner.
- After soaking, rinse with cold running water and air dry.
NOTE: Air drying helps to dissipate the opaque appearance caused by excess moisture.

tcs® Concentrated Denture Cleaner (Professional Strength) for optimal maintenance of dental appliances.

Clean dental appliances once a day to:
- Kill germs that cause odor
- Reduce plaque buildup
- Remove food particles that cause odor
- Dissolve tough stains
- Keep dental appliances fresh and clean
Instructions: Rinse dental appliance thoroughly under running water prior to soaking it. Stir approximately 1/4 packet (one spoonful, measuring spoon included) of powder into one cup of warm water. Allow solution to stand for approximately 3 minutes. Soak dental appliance daily for 30 minutes. Extremely soiled appliances may require overnight soaking. Rinse appliance thoroughly under running water prior to reinsertion into mouth. Solution lasts approximately 7 days.
Important: Dentures containing soft liners should not be soaked for more than 15 minutes per cleaning.
*Not recommended for use on prosthetics fabricated of Ticonium® Alloy.
Safety Caution: Do not put powder in the mouth. Keep out of reach of children and away from colored fabrics and surfaces.
