We offer a variety of hands-on workshops year round. The purpose of the workshops are to equip technicians with the ability, as well as background knowledge to offer Dentists and their Patients a supreme tcs® product. Techniques will be covered to enable technicians with time saving tips and step-by-step processes to properly fabricate tcs® products.
Our workshops range from beginner to advanced technicians, from specific procedures, such as finishing and polishing, to complete start to finish workshops.
Elvis Rosado owns and operates Matrix Dental Laboratory in Valley Stream, NY, a boutique operation specializing exclusively in removable thermoplastic flexible partials. Elvis began his career in the dental industry in 1977 at Master Touch Dental Laboratory in Long Island City, NY. He was one of the original technicians that worked in a production laboratory fabricating thermoplastic partials.
In 1985 he was promoted to manager and held that position until he was again honored by becoming the official trainer for Valplast. Elvis created the training curriculum and literally trained thousands of technicians worldwide the art of a properly fabricated thermoplastic appliance. He introduced the concept of the flexible partial to the military, and trained master technicians at Peterson Air Force Base.
Elvis is a consultant, lecturer and hands-on instructor for Thermoplastic Comfort Systems, Inc. He has traveled across the United States and Europe teaching and sharing his experience on TCS Partials.
Cost for training depends on location, duration, and instructor.

If your lab recently* purchased a Complete TCS Injection System (kit) you are eligible for FREE training. You must provide proof of purchase from an Authorized TCS distributor. Up to 3 technicians in your lab can attend 1 beginner and 1 advanced course free of charge. *No more than 3 months prior to the registered training course date.
If you purchase a Complete TCS Injection System (kit) within 3 months after attending a training course you may receive a refund for the course cost (for up to 3 technicians) with proof of purchase.
REGISTRATION CANCELATION POLICY: A full deposit for the course fee is required to reserve your space. We must receive request for a cancelation at least ten (10) days prior to your scheduled training date to receive credit towards another hands-on training course. Cancelations must be made by telephone (562-426-2970). NO REFUNDS.
Eligible for Free Training: Upon registration you will be required to give your credit card information as a security deposit. Your credit card will not be charged unless there is a no show or if cancelation is not made by telephone at least ten (10) days prior to your scheduled training date.
A Properly Fabricated Removable Flexible Partial Course 26674 & 28760
This course is ideal for technicians that are new to flexible partials. The course consist of the entire process necessary for fabricating a TCS Partial. Every step will be covered, from design and waxing to finishing and polishing. Each technician will fabricate a partial from start to finish, and will have a sample case to take with them.

Advanced Techniques for Removable Flexible Partials Course 28761
This course is for technicians that are already familiar working with thermoplastic but want some additional tips on finishing and polishing, repairs, relines and difficult cases.
Our polishing technique is sure to get your thermoplastic restorations looking like glass. An injected case will be ready for each technician, and we will begin the hands-on finish and polish training. When you leave, you will have a beautifully finished TCS restoration to take with you. Repairs, relines and difficult cases will also be discussed.
