TCS Removable Appliances

TCS removable appliances are custom made restorations that are processed in a laboratory using specialized techniques that yield a precise fit. TCS’s resin properties allow partials and dentures to be fabricated thinner than conventional acrylic dentures, therefore, they are generally more comfortable and easier to adapt to. Unlike permanent tooth replacement options such as, crown/bridge and implants, TCS appliances are non-invasive, making them a good choice for patients with a low threshold for pain.

You don’t have to compromise your smile. When you are ready to replace your missing teeth, you will find that there are numerous solutions to choose from, each with advantages and disadvantages. It can be daunting to sift through factors such as cost, procedure type, aesthetics, etc. Fortunately, you don’t have to make this decision alone, your dentist will help assess what is best for your needs and if a TCS Removable Appliance is the right solution for you. Whether you choose TCS or an alternative solution, you will be one step closer to restoring your smile.

Important Facts

  • TCS is for Everyone

Contrary to popular belief, dentures are not merely for elderly patients. Patients of any age may lose some or all of their teeth and need an affordable, aesthetic solution. You may be surprised at the number of people under the age of 35 that wear dentures as a permanent solution.
  • Emotional Impact

Tooth loss can have an emotional impact on patients. Patients may feel negatively towards their mouth's functional ability and appearance. If you are experiencing physical or psychological emotions surrounding tooth loss, please consult your dentist and see if TCS is the solution for you.
  • Oral Hygiene

Maintaining excellent oral hygiene is vital to caring for your appliance and oral health. Aside from regular dental checkups and brushing, daily appliance cleaning is necessary. Soaking and brushing your dentures with an effective, non-abrasive denture cleanser reduces levels or biofilm and potentially harmful bacteria and fungi.
  • TCS Resins

Ill fitting dentures can slip and move around causing discomfort and embarrassment. TCS resins are processed using high pressure injection for a precise fit. TCS resins are monomer-free, making them an ideal choice for patients with sensitivity to traditional acrylic dentures.

How to Care

TCS appliances are easy to care for, ensuring long-lasting comfort and performance. The key to keeping your dental appliance looking and feeling like new is to soak it in a cleansing solution daily, starting from the day you receive it. Continue to brush your natural teeth and gums as directed by your dentist, and follow these simple recommendations for optimal care.

STEP 1

Rinse your dental appliance thoroughly under running water to remove any food particles.

STEP 2

Brush your dental appliance with a soft denture brush using water only. Rinse again.

STEP 3

Submerge your dental appliance in a cleansing solution for at least 30 minutes daily. We recommend using the TCS Fresh Concentrated Dental Appliance Cleaner. (Extremely soiled appliances may require overnight soaking)

STEP 4

Rinse dental appliance thoroughly under running water prior to re-insertion into mouth. When possible, keep your appliance in water or a denture cleansing solution when you are not wearing it.

Patients Love TCS

Jane Doe
"I was absolutely elated with the immediate comfort and excellent fit. I have had them for a few months now, and could not be happier. Well worth the considerable wait to get this right. I have absolutely no loose fit, food lodging under bottom side, or difficulty pulling out of my mouth. I would recommend them to everybody."
Samantha
Samantha suffers from Ethler Danlos Syndrome, a genetic mutation that affects the entire body. As a result, she had several mouth tumors that caused her to loose some teeth. "Thanks to TCS I was able to avoid expensive surgery. I am really thankful that my TCS Partial was so affordable and that I finally have teeth. Thank you so much."

"I'm 56 years old. My TCS appliance is for a partial denture on the lower left side. I was worried on how long it would take me to get used to it. I was surprised at how comfortable it felt after the first day."
Ron
"Because of gum disease I lost a few key teeth. Looked at implants but cost for just 3 would have been about $15,000 with crowns. My dentist introduced me to the TCS flexible partial at less than 20% cost of the implant. Had a few issues with the fit but now we've got it to where I hardly know it's there. It sits well in my mouth; stays in place when I eat and has made my life more normal again."
Connie
"I just received my partial and I can't express how pleased I am with the fit and color. It fits absolutely PERFECT...Thank you so much for a wonderful smile! I couldn't be happier!"

"After many years of wearing an uncomfortable acrylic partial denture that would constantly break, my dentist prescribed me an iFlex. I can finally smile and eat without any worries."

"I love my TCS partial denture. It is comfortable, easy to care for, and best of all no one can tell I am wearing it."

Dental implants are a possible alternative to dentures. Implants are surgically integrated into your jaw bone to hold a replacement tooth or bridge in place. Implants and bridges may resemble the “feel” of real teeth however, they are significantly more expensive than dentures and the process is invasive. Not all patients are good candidates for implants, so be sure to talk to your dentist about which treatment option is best for you.
